What company is behind this app?

Triprism, Inc.

Since its inception in 1993, TriPrism, Inc. has specialized in being on the forefront of digital imaging technology.

Drawing from their experience as pioneer leaders in introducing and developing digital photography in the United States while working for Sony in the late 80’s and early 90’s, the TriPrism partners have combined each of their unique talents to create a consortium of some of the best minds in digital imaging. It is this combination of talents that has propelled TriPrism to be one of the top and oldest firms in the digital photography software business.

In 2009, the owners of TriPrism, Inc. decided to use their custom software and web services to create turnkey systems that combine photographs with social networking services. With that, PhotoTouch, Inc. was born.

Why was this app created?

This app is designed as a support app for our other software. PhotoTouch Browser's main purposes is to serve local webpages from our other applications. In addition, some of our locations use it on Amazon FireTV sticks to show web-based photo slideshows for customers birthday parties and celebrations.

Once the website is set in the app settings, you can hide the menu bar and every time the app is launched, the web page is reloaded.

What is the purpose of the scan button / What is "Bamboo" ?

The scan button allows the software to scan your local network to search for one of our pieces of software called "Bamboo." Bamboo is a piece of software used with photography companies to show and print photos from iPads, iPhones, or virtually any device that can connect to the internet.

What is hide menu bar? (FireTV)

The menu bar is on by default and is the black bar at the top of the screen. If you turn off the menu bar, it allows your content to enter full screen mode. While in full screen, you can always bring the sellings up by pressing the menu button (button with 3 lines) and then pressing the circle select button on your remote.

What is hide statu bar? (iOS)

The status bar serves as a visual indication the webpage is loading. By turning it off, the user will have no visual indication if the page is loading or not.

What is validate scanned characters?

When using PhotoTouch Browser in coordination with one of our other pieces of software called "Bamboo" customers are often given unique barcodes / qr codes. These barcodes or QR codes contain characters that are unique to individual customer IDS. With this feature turned on, the software validates that only accepted characters are scanned.
