TriPrism, Inc. offers the latest version of TEPS X Share to our customers and those wishing to demo the product.

If you demo TEPS, in order to start a sitting or print photos, you must purchase a registered security key. Otherwise, you may use the Demo version free of charge.

TEPS-X Share is not compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. In order to maintain compatibility and continue using TEPS, do not update your production machines to the new operating system. This operating system requires all of our Applications to be updated to support 64 Bit architecture. - We are actively working to deliver you an optimal experience by updating our Applications to this requirement.

macOS 10.14 (Mojave)

Not yet supported | macOS 10.14 is not yet supported.

We've found that TEPS-X Share does work, we are not yet ready to declare support. If you choose to update to Mojave, you may; however, if an issue arrises, you may need to perform an erase and re-install back to an older operating system. Make sure you back up your system on 10.13 or older before upgrading.

Newer Versions are "Keyless"

No More 'Dongles' | Teps-X V15+ is Keyless and needs to be activated by TriPrism, Inc.

TEPS-2000, TEPS-X v10, TEPS-X v11, TEPS-X v12, TEPS-X v13, and TEPS-X V14 each use different security keys. Each version is a paid upgrade, and therefore the keys are not interchangeable.

If you wish to upgrade to version 15 or newer, you must purchase a new 'wireless' security key.

Mac OS X 10.9 + App Nap

OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or newer operating systems App Nap needs to be shut off Teps-X apps.

App Nap

TEPS X, TEPS Processor, TEPS Printcenter. To shut off, highlight each app. Go to File>Get Info and check the Prevent App Nap box. (See screen shot below) You may also turn it off for the entier computer by inserting the following line of code into Apple's 'Terminal' App

defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSAppSleepDisabled -bool YES 

Restart your computer.Then, you can use Activity Monitor to check to see if any of your apps hidden from view are using App Nap

Mac OS X 10.11 + Image Capture Plug-In

OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or newer operating systems the Image Capture plug-in needs to be turned off.

Disable Photos

It is default for Image Capture to try to launch 'Photos' when a new card is inserted. You can turn this off by inserting a card, opening the Image Capture Application, click on the card, an arrow in a box will appear (towards the bottom). Click on that and click 'No Application'

macOS 10.11 + Nikon Camera Direct Connect issue

OS X 10.11.x El Capitan + has an issue with direct connect.


There is a known issue for Nikon camera's direct connected. Please only update to 10.10 to continue to use Nikon's direct connect with our software

We have developed the NikonCapture App to assist in Nikon Capture - It should be included in newer versions of our software.

TEPS v17.14.x (and newer) | Shinko S2145, S1245 printers may not work as expected.

The following printers have been discontinued by their manufacturers and may not work as expected with newer versions of TEPS.

The Sinfonia / Shinko S2145 and S1245 printers have been discontinued by the manufacturer. The printer driver is no longer supported by newer operating systems causing printer issues with newer versions of TEPS on newer operating systems.
